The Work to Be Done

My name is Wesley Adkins, and I'm excited to announce my candidacy for the Tennessee State House of Representatives for the 25th District!

As a lifelong resident of this beautiful region, I am deeply honored by the opportunity to serve as your voice in our State Capitol. I come to you not only as a neighbor and friend but as a parent, volunteer, board member, realtor, auctioneer, and operating partner – a true reflection of the diverse fabric of our rural community.

With roots firmly planted in the soil of this district, I bring with me a tireless work ethic and a proven track record of effective leadership. My approach is simple yet powerful: boots on the ground, sleeves rolled up, ready to tackle the issues that matter most to each and every one of you.

As a parent, I am committed to ensuring that every child in our district has access to a safe and quality education. Our public schools must be adequately funded and equipped with the resources necessary to nurture the minds of our future leaders.

As a responsible gun owner, I recognize the importance of gun safety measures and believe in implementing common-sense and red-flag gun laws to prevent tragedies like those we've sadly witnessed in our state. We must strike a balance between protecting our Second Amendment rights and safeguarding our communities.

Living in rural Tennessee, I understand firsthand the challenges our communities face in accessing quality healthcare. I am dedicated to expanding healthcare services to every corner of the Upper Cumberland, ensuring that no one is left behind.

As a staunch advocate for equitable voting rights, I am committed to removing barriers and ensuring that every Tennessean has fair and accessible opportunities to participate in our democratic process.

As a proud member of the LGBTQ community, I stand in solidarity with marginalized voices and vow to fight against discrimination in all its forms. Our legislation must reflect inclusivity and respect for every individual, regardless of who they love or how they identify.

And let us not forget the backbone of our state – our hardworking farmers. As a product of a farming family, I understand the vital role agriculture plays in our economy and will tirelessly champion policies that support and protect our agricultural heritage.

My fellow Tennesseans, I am running to be a representative for all. Together, let us forge a path forward towards a Tennessee we can all be proud of – a Tennessee where every voice is heard, every person is valued, and every community thrives.

Thank you, and I humbly ask for your support on this journey. Together, we can make a difference.
